Century 21 Exposition (1962 World’s Fair)

Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair, known as the Century 21 Exposition, highlighted the scientific and technological advancements of the region, connections to places across the globe, and hopes for the dawning space age. From the Space Needle to the Science Pavilion, the Bubblelator to the Gayway, the fair transformed the city.
